Q) How much does it cost to attend the Berks Celtic Fest?
A) Tickets for the 2025 Celtic Festival can be purchased online here for $12 before the day of the festival. They are also available at the gate the day of the festival for $15.
Q) Are kids free?
A) Yes, kids 12 years of age and under are free and don’t require a ticket for entry.
Q) What forms of payment do you accept to purchase tickets?
A) Tickets purchase online before the day of the festival must be paid for with a credit/debit card. At the gate on the day of the festival, we accept credit/debit cards, or cash.
Q) What happened to the Jim Doyle Memorial Celtic Course?
A) Organizing this run, in addition to the festival, to be held on the same day of the festival is a difficult undertaking. Also, we love the idea of having this run start and end on the same grounds where the festival is held. The logistics of putting on a road run or a trail run in the area of the Reading Liederkranz in the end of June has presented quite a list of obstacles. We are working through how we can make it work again in the future. Please stay tuned!
Q) Have you ever thought about having (insert band name here) play at your festival?
A) We love to hear from you what specific bands you would like to see at our festival. Please contact us here or see any of our committee members on the day of the festival to give us some suggestions.
Q) Will there be alcohol at the Festival?
A) Yes, alcohol will be served to people 21 years of age and older with a valid ID.
Q) Will there be a kilt contest?
A) Of course there will be a kilt contest. There will be a women’s division and a men’s division and you can sign up for the contest at our merchandise tent throughout the day.
